We were approached by Evolve IMS to assist in their move to a new office space in Aberdeen.
The client required assistance to create a workspace that featured:
- Digital signage screens for live statistics and desktop collaboration
- Teams based video conferencing meeting room
- Background audio system
- Electrical alterations and additions
- Network hardware installation
Following our consultation meeting and site visits we quickly collaborated with the client to design the systems necessary to meet the needs of the clients’ business whilst assessing and discussing all options available. Granite AVI agreed a plan of action to have the work completed by our skilled technicians in the timescale we had available.
Our installation team were able to hide cabling for the speakers, screens and electrical points within the ceilings and walls which allowed the engineers to fit the speakers discretely whilst placing the electrical and video equipment away from any unnecessary access.
Wi-Fi access points were installed throughout the building’s four floors to ensure consistent network connectivity for users. Sonos ceiling speakers were installed in the break room to allow staff to listen to music of their choice. An amplifier was installed in the comms room rack to keep the installation discrete and neat.
A new mains consumer unit and lighting controls were installed to improve safety, accommodate new equipment, and provide improved control of the electrical systems throughout the building.
The project was completed on time and our client is extremely happy with the end results, professionalism, and ongoing collaboration by Granite AVI.
